Malaysian Passport Renewal

Validity of Malaysian Passport is 5 years from the date of issuance. The renewal can be done at any Immigration Offices in Malaysia or Malaysian Representative Offices abroad.

The remaining period of the passport validity not more than 6 months can be carried forward with the following conditions:

1. Not a case of lost and stolen / damaged passport and
2. Not the case under investigation

The renewal procedure is similar to new application procedure except the existing passport MUST be presented. For lost and stolen passport case, a police report must be attached.
